How to bookmark a site in Chrome directly from Safari on an iPhone or iPad

Quite a life situation: you have an iPhone or iPad, and you want to add a bookmark to the Google browser with the site, who actually visited in safari. How to do it quickly and correctly?

If you already have Chrome installed, everything, what should be done — it is add it to the list for sharing Safari. And how to do it:

  1. Open Safari on your iOS device and launch any website.
  2. Click the Share button.
  3. In the first row, scroll through icons from right to left – until, until you see the dot menu with the inscription More.
  4. Click on it and activate the slider switch opposite the Chrome label. Also, if you wish, you can move the line from Chrome above – to access shortcuts faster.

Fine! Now all settings are done, and it remains only to use our function.

How to save a bookmark in Chrome from Safari on an iPhone or iPad

  1. Open the desired page in Safari.
  2. Click the Share button.
  3. Select Chrome from the list.
  4. Tap Add Bookmark.

Is done! You will see «tick» labeled Added. It means, that your bookmark has already hit Safari from Chrome – in section Bookmarks → Mobile Bookmarks – and ready to use (will appear in a few minutes or when you restart the Chrome app).

Besides, it will now be synchronized with all other devices with Chrome – t.e. will appear on each of them.
